
The Mackie Shilstone X-Stress Program is based on his book, Maximum Energy for Life, and is a 28 day strategic plan designed to help you feel great, reduce the aging process, and optimize your health. You will learn how to:

X-Stress is a revolutionary program designed for busy professionals who may not have more than 30-45 minutes to workout in a gym three times per week. Results have demonstrated that individuals who continued this program for 12 weeks achieved the following dramatic gains in aerobic capacity and strength and substantial reduction in body fat:
- Aerobic capacity increased 17% in men and women
- Men and women increased upper body strength by 17%. Men increased lower body strength by 21%, while women had a 26% increase.
- Men lost an average of 17% body fat and women lost 11%.
This 4 week program brings together all of the necessary components to minimize stress and improve quality of life. After completing the application process, a Fitness Principle staff member will call you to determine how we can best help you meet your goals. You will then be contacted to begin the assessment process.

Phase One: Application

Phase Two: Assessment
- Physiological Assessment: Meet with our certified fitness experts and Dietitian to determine your physiological and nutritional status using the following:
- Body composition: determines your body's amount of lean mass and fat mass. These numbers help us set realistic and obtainable goals for your program. Your body composition and measurements will be reassessed at the end of the 4 week program.
- Nutritional Assessment: Meet with our lifestyle nutritionist to assess your current diet and to develop a 21st century eating plan as guideline for caloric intake. The 21st century eating plan is not only designed to improve quality of life and physical performance, but also to ingest the type of foods that minimizes stress and improves vigor.
- Lifestyle Assessment: Meet your trainer and develop your lifestyle plan.
Phase Three: Training
- You will meet with your X-Stress trainer 3 times per week (30 minutes per session) for 4 weeks at our location.
- Meet with Mackie to discuss and review progress and testing results.
Phase Four: Reassessment of Performance and Physiological Measures
- During your 1st training session with an exercise specialist, you will be evaluated based on your performance through the X-STRESS pro-circuit. Throughout the 4 week program, a chart will monitor your performance progress and will be assessed at the end of the program with Mackie Shilstone.
- Body composition will be assessed after completion of the program to demonstrate the physiological changes that have occurred during your training.
- Nutritional assessment -- you will meet with the staff Dietitian at the conclusion of the program to determine if modifications should be made to your 21st century eating plan.
