Warning Signs of Stroke

The American Stroke Association offers the following signs of stroke:

  • Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.
  • Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or trouble understanding.
  • Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
  • Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or loss of coordination.

If you see one or more of these signs in yourself or another person, do not hesitate to call 9-1-1.
