MITS

The Mobility Impaired Transportation System is an extension of Jefferson Transit and provides transportation for persons with disabilities who are unable to utilize fixed route buses.

This service is available 7 days a week from 6:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at a cost of $2 per trip. Making appointments early is encouraged due to limited time and capacity.

MITS is not a medical transportation service.

The service is available to persons who meet specific criteria described in the American Disabilities Act. Individuals are eligible if they cannot navigate because of disability.
