Signature Gifts
A signature gift is a pledge of $50,000 or more from a group of individuals or a business. Signature gifts are also classified as major gifts.
Keystone Society
Community members who have signed gift intention cards for $10,000 or more to the Foundation are members of the Keystone Society. The gift intention is payable over ten years and has flexible payment terms of monthly, quarterly, annually and/or lump sum.
Benefactors' Society
These donors have given accumulated gifts of $2,500 to $9,999. Their generosity is recognized on a plaque displayed in the Domino Pavilion lobby.
CARE Club
CARE stands for "Community Action Reaches Everyone." Donations to the CARE Club can be in any amount and support the Foundation's areas of greatest need. Members who donate $100 or more annually are recognized in East Jefferson General Hospital's Examiner magazine.
Funds supported by the CARE Club include:
- General Fund
This fund supports Foundation programs and projects and the Team Member Humanitarian Fund. Donations to the fund have supported the Wellness Center, Care Channel, pediatric "Busy Boxes" and Regional Cancer Center.
- Twilla & Stewart Currie Fund
This fund provides financial aid to nurses for continuing education.
- Jean Gentry Fund
This fund offers financial aid to nurses pursuing certification in geriatrics.
