The Workforce Health Initiative helps employers to identify, address and reduce employee health risks before they result in costly healthcare claims. The program uses several components to educate employees and help employers maintain a healthy and productive workforce.

HEALTH INFORMATION CENTER
This wall-mounted display provides general information on common health issues through a monthly poster and health guides for employees to take home and share.

PERSONAL HEALTH PROFILES (PHP)
These confidential surveys, completed by employees, are used to help identify modifiable health risks and unhealthy behaviors within the employee population.

PERSONAL HEALTH REPORT
Based on an individual's PHP results, this health risk assessment informs the employee of his or her health risks and provides recommendations for disease prevention and a healthier lifestyle.

WORKFORCE HEALTH PROFILE
Based on the results of employees' PHPs, employers receive a 'health snapshot' that compares the health status of their workforce with others in the area and in the nation.

PREVENTION, SCREENING & EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
Based on the Workforce Health Profile, EJGH will coordinate onsite screenings and seminars to help employees eliminate or reduce their risk factors before they lead to illness or injury.
